How to earn BOBA

What is BOBA?

BOBA is an on-chain point system that rewards your trading activity in Coin98 Wallet. These non-transferable but redeemable points are issued as VRC25 tokens on the Viction blockchain, serving as both a reward and a credential for your Web3 expertise.

BOBA can be earned through trading both on Coin98 Super Wallet and Coin98 Extension.

To get started, ensure you update your app to the latest version.

Requirements:

1. Using Swap X feature on Coin98 Super Wallet or Swap feature on Coin98 Extension for your swap

2. Trading whitelisted tokens:

   1. Top 200 tokens by market cap (based on Coingecko’s data)

   2. Selected emerging tokens with potential, chosen by our team

3. Performing swaps on the same chain (cross-chain swaps/bridges are currently not eligible)

4. Requirements for earning BOBA by swapping on Solana chain:

   • You must use a multichain wallet and link your OneID to that wallet before swapping

   • A wallet without linked OneID (no OneID is linked to) and a Solana single chain wallet, will not receive BOBA

Detailed steps:

2. The system will then calculate your BOBA reward, and within 1 hour, the BOBA will reflect on “Waiting BOBA” and be locked there for 24 hours. You will receive a notification when BOBA enters the “Waiting” state.

3. After the “Waiting” period ends, BOBA becomes “Available,” and you will automatically receive it in your wallet.

Your BOBA balance determines your level.

Levels based on available balance (not total earned).

Levels can decrease if BOBA is redeemed.

Which swaps earn BOBA?

Currently, only native swaps (same-chain) earn BOBA. Cross-chain swaps and bridges will be supported in future updates.

Why didn't I earn BOBA for my swap?

Check these requirements:

• Was it a same-chain swap?

• Was the token on the whitelist?

• Did you use Coin98 Wallet (only Coin9 Super Wallet and Coin98 Extension, not other wallets)

How do I know which tokens are whitelisted?

Whitelisted tokens include:

• All top 200 tokens by market cap (data by CoinGecko)

• Selected emerging tokens with potential

• The list updates daily at 23:00 UTC

Why is there a waiting period?

This ensures system stability and prevents gaming of the rewards system. It's a standard practice for on-chain reward programs.

Can I earn BOBA on Solana?

Yes. BOBA rewards are available on Solana starting from Coin98 Super Wallet V16.2.1 (soon supported on Coin98 Extension).

⚠ Requirements to earn BOBA when swapping on Solana:

• You must use a multichain wallet.

• Your wallet must be linked with OneID before swapping.

❌ If you use a Solana single-chain wallet or a wallet without a linked OneID, you will not receive BOBA rewards.

When can I redeem BOBA?

Redemption events will be surprise, limited-time campaigns. Stay active in the app to not miss out!

What if I don't see my BOBA balance?

BOBA may take some time to appear after a swap. You can check your Waiting BOBA in BOBA History. If you have met all the eligibility criteria and the token has not appeared after the estimated processing time (approximately 25 hours), kindly contact our support team via Live Chat (https://livechat.coin98.com/) for further assistance.

How to Earn BOBA (from BOBA Points old version)

Build your BOBA balance by performing eligible on-chain activities within Coin98 Super Wallet. The more quality interactions you have, the more BOBA you earn.

Currently, you can earn BOBA through:

• SwapX: Perform native swaps (same-chain swaps) using the SwapX feature

• Supported Platforms: Both Coin98 Mobile App and Coin98 Extension

• Supported Assets: Refer to the section below "Whitelisted Tokens"

• Coming Soon: More on-chain activities will be added

After completing an eligible swap, your BOBA will enter a "Waiting" status before becoming "Available" in your balance.
