How to start a new conversation in Coin98 Chat

Step 1: Access Coin98 Chat section

Note: If you have not logged in with wallet, you need to log in first to be able to start a chat.

Step 2: Click on + button on top right of the screen

Step 3: Type in search bar the username or OneID account that you want to start a chat with.

Click Start Now to start chatting

Note: Due to the 2 login types: Login with Wallet and Login with OneID (linked to wallet), your chat data is stored separatedly.

Conversations created in one login method will not appear in the other, even if they are linked to the same wallet.

Example:

If you have a wallet A linked to OneID abc.98

• When you log in with Wallet A, you start a chat with Alice

• When you log in with OneID abc.98, the previous chat with Alice will not be displayed in the app (treated as a different profile)
