What is Universal Referral Program
The referral system connects users through up to three levels:
Referee: the invited user
Direct Referrer: the user who invited the Referee
Indirect Referrer: the referrer of the Direct Referrer
Direct and Indirect Referrers earn XP when their referees perform activities across Coin98 features, including Futures, Fusion Card top-ups and Swap (comming soon). The total XP earned over the last 30 days determines the referrer’s tier, which defines the commission rate they can receive.
How it works:
Invite: Share your referral code with friends.
Earn Points: When your invitees trade on Futures, top-up Fusion Card or swap on SwapX (coming soon), you earn XP from their activities.
Level Up & Earn Rewards: Your total XP determines your tier. The higher tiers you unlock, the higher commission rates and greater rewards you receive
Important Note:
.1 Users must update to the latest version to participate in the Universal Referral Program
.2 Users must use a multichain wallet to trade, and commissions are paid via an EVM address only.
.3 Feature-specific rules:
Fusion Card: Only top-up transactions are eligible. Referral commission applies to the referrers of the wallet that performs the top-up
How to invite friends via referral code
Open Coin98 super app => Access Referral from the main screen, your ref code will display.
Click on the copy code icon (1) or Invite Now (2) and then share your ref code link with your friends to start earning commissions.
Note:
When a referee clicks a referral link, the system automatically applies the referral to all multi-chain wallets on the referee’s device that have not been previously referred. Each wallet is counted as one referral.
The referral code is stored on the device. When the referee creates new wallets or imports wallets, the referral code is automatically applied to those wallets as well.
Example: If User A invites User B:
User B has 10 existing multichain wallets that have not been previously referred → User A receives 10 referrals.
User B later creates 5 more wallets → User A receives 5 additional referrals, for a total of 15 referrals.
Tier System & Commission Mechanism
Your commission rate grows as your network grows. By accumulating XP from your Direct and Indirect Invitees’ eligible activities within a 30-day rolling window, you can level up and unlock higher commission rewards, up to 50%.
Note: The system refreshes daily at 00:00. All XP earned during the day will be added to your total after the refresh. For example, if your invitee makes a transaction at 7:00 AM, the XP you earned will be credited after 00:00 on the following day.
How to track referral details
You can view all your referral information, including total earnings, total invitees, transaction volume, and commission activities directly on the Referral main screen.

What is XP?
XP is used to determine tier level, not directly withdrawn, redeemed or traded. Point (XP) is a non-tokenized, non-transferable unit used only to determine your referral tier ranking.
You can earn Points from activities of Direct Invitees & Indirect Invitees such as Trade on Futures, Topup Visa Card, and Swap (comming soon)
How is the referral code applied?
Your referral is applied automatically when your friends click your link and access their accounts, no manual action is required.
When and how to redeem rewards?
Your commissions (rewards) are shared in real time and will appear on the Referral Hub UI. For now, the redemption feature is not available. You’ll be able to redeem your rewards once the feature goes live.
