How to use Coin98 Fusion Card

What is a Coin98 Fusion Card?

Coin98 Fusion Card is a Visa card linked to your Coin98 Super Wallet - top up with crypto and spend like cash anywhere Visa is accepted: online, in-store, or via Apple/Google Pay where supported. Currently available to residents in the APAC region.

How it works

You can use your crypto for daily payments in a few steps:

  1. Register and activate your Coin98 Fusion Card: Pay a one-time fee and complete email and KYC verification to get started

  2. Top up: Add crypto to your card anytime

  3. Spend anywhere: Use your Coin98 Fusion Card online/offline with Apple/Google Pay wherever VISA is accepted.

Register and activate your Coin98 Fusion Card

Step 1: Register your Coin98 Fusion Card

  1. Open Coin98 Super Wallet and slide the Home screen to the right to access the Coin98 Fusion Card screen;

  2. Tap Get Your Card

  1. Select your country code, then enter your phone number and click Continue;

  2. Enter the receiving OTP sent to your phone.

  1. Select a wallet, choose from the supported tokens, and click Continue

  1. Review the token, chain, gas fee, and then Slide To Pay.

Make sure to prepare a small amount of native token to pay for the gas fee.

You’ll see "Paid successfully" once it's done.

Step 2: Verify your Email

  1. On the Card activation progress, click Verify to verify your email

  2. Enter your email address and click Continue.

  3. Enter the OTP sent to your email.

Step 3. Complete the KYC verification.

  1. On the Card activation progress, click Start KYC.

  2. Follow the on-screen flow to submit ID and documents as required.

  3. The status shows Processing. Once it is approved, the card will be ready to use.

Top up to use the card online/offline

Step 1: Click Top up on the card.

Step 2: Fill in the information in the Travel Rule screen:

  • Full name, date/place of birth

  • ID type and number, issuing country

  • Address & postal code

Step 3: Choose from the supported tokens (for example: USDT on BNB Smart Chain) and enter the amount

Step 4: Review the information: top-up fee & gas then Slide to Top Up.

Add the card to Apple/Google Pay

From the card screen, tap Add to Apple Pay on iOS (or Add to Google Pay on Android) and follow the guide.

Once added, you can tap-to-pay in stores and pay online where supported.

Managing your card

View card details

Tap the card number on the top of the card => choose View card details

Lock the card

Tap the card number on the top of the card => choose Lock card => click Lock Card.

Unlock the card

Tap the Unlock Card icon on the middle of the card. Click Unlock => enter PIN and OTP to confirm.

Common Issues

If you have any questions or issues that are not covered in this FAQ, please contact Livechat for further assistance.

  • All card-related matters, including card actions, verifications, and resolutions are handled by the service provider (DCS)

  • Coin98 serves as a communication bridge between users and the service provider. We collect user requests via Livechat and coordinate with the service provider for resolution. Once the process is completed, Coin98 will update you with the result.

  • Estimated processing time is up to 7 business days.

Verification & Update Information

For any card-related requests, including verification or updating your card information, please contact Livechat and provide:

  • Full Name (as registered in the system)

  • Registered Email Address & Mobile Number (used during account creation or last update)

  • Date of Birth or NRIC/Passport Number (only for identity-sensitive queries)

If you want to update your information, please specify the details to be changed, for example:

  • Full Name: Registered → New

  • Mobile Number: Registered → New

  • Email Address: Registered → New

  • Mailing Address: Registered → New

Unauthorized transaction

Immediately lock your card in the app. (See “How to lock your card” guide) Provide the following to Livechat so we can report it for investigation:

  • Registered Card Name

  • Registered Phone Number

  • Screenshot or receipt of the transaction

  • Transaction date and time

  • Transaction amount

Insufficient Balance

This is a micro credit card, which may allow small purchases (e.g., transportation fees) even with an insufficient balance, causing a negative balance.

If your card doesn’t work after topping up, please provide the following to Livechat:

  • Registered Card Name

  • Registered Phone Number

  • Screenshot of the failed transaction

  • Screenshot of your account balance

  • Screenshot of the latest successful transaction

Top-up not credited

Before reporting, please verify that:

  • You scanned the correct QR code.

  • The paid amount matches the displayed amount exactly.

If the top-up is still not credited, please provide the following to Livechat so we can assist in escalating to the FOMO team:

  • Registered Card Name

  • Registered Mobile Number

  • Transaction Hash (TXID)

  • Date and Time

  • Top-up Amount

  • Platform Used (e.g., Binance, OKX, etc.)

  • Screenshot of the Transaction Receipt

OTP not received

Please try these steps first:

  1. Check that your mobile number is correct.

  2. Wait at least 60 seconds before requesting a new code.

  3. Each OTP is valid for 5 minutes.

If the issue persists, please contact Livechat with your Registered Card Name and Phone Number for assistance.

FAQ

1. What fees will I be charged for using the card?

You will be charged a one-time card issuance fee (no annual fee). A 1% fee will be charged on each top-up by Coin98 and the service provider (DCS).

2. Can I suspend my crypto card?

Yes. You can suspend your card by locking it in the app. While the card is locked, it cannot be used for payments. You can unlock it at any time to use it again.

3. Can I apply for a physical card?

Physical cards are currently under development.

4. How do I recover my crypto card account if I lose my wallet?

Your card is separate from your wallet and linked to your phone number, so you can still use it for spending as usual even if you lose access to your wallet (e.g., by losing or forgetting your seed phrase). Simply log in with your registered phone number to access your card.

If you lose access to your phone number, you won’t be able to top up. In that case, it’s recommended to spend any remaining balance, discard the old card, and issue a new one.
