Everything you need to know to start using your Zen Card, even if you’re completely new.
How to Set Up Hybrid Wallet
This guide will show you step by step how to set up your Hybrid Wallet with your Zen Card, so you can start managing your crypto safely and smoothly.
Before using any Zen Card features, you need to add your Zen Card to the Coin98 Super Wallet app. After that, you can either create a wallet to manage your assets or set up a digital profile to share your identity easily.
1. Add Zen Card to Coin98 Super Wallet
Requirements
Step 1: Open the side menu, choose Manage Zen Cards
Step 2: On the Zen Onboard screen, choose Get Started and select Add your first Zen Card
Step 3: Tap and hold the Zen Card, then follow the on-screen instructions
When the system prompts you to scan, tap and hold your Zen Card on the back of your phone until a success message appears.
NFC Scan Area:
On iPhone X and newer, hold the card horizontally near the top front.
On Android, make sure NFC is enabled and check your phone’s settings or guide for the correct placement.
The success screen may look slightly different between Android and iOS devices.

Step 4: Enter a name for the wallet, select the corresponding Card Edition, and click Add;

You’re all set! Now, choose how you want to use your Zen Card:
Add Wallet to Zen Card → this will turn your card into a Hybrid Wallet, letting you store and manage your crypto securely.
Add Profile to Zen Card → this will set up your E-Card, so you can share your contact info and social links with just one tap.

2. Create a Zen Card Wallet (Hybrid Wallet)
After adding your Zen Card to the Coin98 Super Wallet, the next step is to add a wallet to begin using it.
Go to the Manage Zen Cards section to view all your added cards, then find the one you want and tap Set up Wallet. You can either create a new wallet or import/migrate an existing one to your Zen Card.
2.1. Create a new Zen Wallet:
If you’re new to Coin98 or want to start fresh with a new multichain wallet, this option is the way to go. It creates a new wallet inside the Coin98 Super Wallet app and links it to your Zen Card.
Step 1: Name the wallet as desired, then click Continue

Step 2: Carefully back up your Seed Phrase or Private Key in a secure location.
Read the warnings, then select the three checkboxes to acknowledge the risks of losing your keys. Click Import to Zen Wallet to proceed
Step 3: Click on Tap & hold Zen Card on the NFC scanner of the phone until the notification shows successful

2.2. Restore Wallet to Zen Card
If you already have a wallet from outside Coin98, you can import it to your Zen Card using your Seed Phrase. This moves your existing wallet into the Coin98 Super Wallet app and links it to your Zen Card, giving you stronger security and simpler asset management.
Step 1: Enter a desired wallet’s name and Seed phrase
Step 2: Click Import to Zen Wallet
Step 3: Click on Tap & hold Zen Card on the NFC scanner of the phone until the notification shows successful

2.3. Migrate Hot Wallet to Zen Card
This process keeps your wallet address and assets exactly the same but moves the wallet’s key storage to your Zen Card, providing stronger protection through split-key encryption and enhanced security.
Step 1: Choose the existing Hot Wallet (Multichain) that you want to migrate then click on Migrate Zen Card

Step 2: Click on Tap & hold Zen Card on the NFC scanner of the phone until the notification shows successful

Important Note:
Each Zen Card can store only one wallet at a time.
Creating, restoring, or migrating a wallet will replace the existing wallet on your Zen Card.
Before continuing, always back up your Seed Phrase and Private Key in a safe place.
Once replaced, a previous wallet can only be recovered using its Seed Phrase or Private Key.
If you add a wallet to a card that already has one, the app will show a warning message, make sure your backup is complete before proceeding.
How to Use Your Zen Card
When making a transaction with Zen Wallet, you’ll be prompted to scan your Zen Card. Simply tap and hold your Zen Card on the NFC Scan Area of your phone until a success message appears.

NFC Scan Area
iPhone X or later: Hold the card horizontally near the top front of your phone.
Android phones: Ensure NFC is enabled, then check your phone’s settings or manual to find the correct scan area.
