How to create an Aura wallet on Coin98 Extension

Firstly, you need to install or update your Coin98 Extension to the latest version.

2. How to activate Aura Xstaxy Mainnet on Coin98 Extension

Before creating a new Aura Wallet, kindly ensure that the Aura Xstaxy Mainnet is already activated in the Active Blockchains section.

What is Active Blockchains feature?

You can activate Aura Xstaxy Mainnet on Coin98 Extension by following these steps:

• Step 1: On the Home screen of Coin98 Extension, click Services icon → choose Active Blockchains.

• Step 2: Scroll down to find and toggle on the Aura Xstaxy Mainnet.

• Step 3: Go back to the Manage Wallets section to check.

When the Aura Xstaxy Mainnet is already activated, the Aura wallet will be displayed automatically in the multichain wallets that you had previously.

3. How to create a new Aura wallet on Coin98 Extension

Step 1: Click the Manage Wallet icon at the top left corner of the home screen → Click Add Wallet icon.

Step 2: Choose a wallet type you desire and click Continue.

Step 3: Choose Multi-Chain or Aura Xstaxy Mainnet-> Then click Create;

It is recommended that you create a Multichain wallet to conveniently manage and access all blockchain wallets, including the Aura wallet, with only one Seed Phrase.

Step 4: Name your wallet → Click Next.

You can choose the icon on the top right corner to choose Seed Phrase Type. Coin98 supports generating 2 types Seed Phrase: 12 words and 24 words. The 12 words seed phrase is set as default.

Step 5:

• Accurately back up your Seed Phrase & Private Key. (Kindly pay attention to every word and make sure you back up the Recovery Keys in the right order and in a safe place).

• Paste the copied Seed Phrase from the previous step into the confirmation box.

• Read the caution carefully and tick to confirm your awareness of the risks if you lose keys.

• Click Create Wallet to complete.

Your new wallet will instantly be displayed on the home screen. You can also access the Manage Wallet section again to check all your wallets.
